Oral history interview with Ernie Nicholson, net maker
Downloads
Ernie was a net maker, a rather unique job which doesn’t exist any more. Ernie knew a lot about the local day to day comings and goings of the Morecambe fishermen. He ran the West Shop, where the fishermen got all their equipment, attached to Morecambe Trawlers. Includes a transcript summary.
