Hest Bank Jetty surveying - from the Shore - Image 01
This picture was taken on 21/03/2017 during the surveying of the remains of Hest Bank Jetty by an intrepid team of Morecambe Bay Partnership members and hardy volunteers. On this particular day the professional aerial surveying by drone had been cancelled due to the poor weather, and the strength of the unrelenting wind can also be judged by the grass being blown almost horizontally. In the background the tide is also racing in, so better not get cut off while overdoing the commitment and enthusiasm !
