(1) Dorothy Calverely describes growing up in her childhood home.

(2) Dorothy Calverely describes knitting nets for her father.

(3) Dorothy Calverely describes going to school in Overton from Sunderland Point.

(4) Dorothy Calverely describes being in a boat when a school of porpoises appeared and being concerned about the boat sinking.

(5) Dorothy Calverely describes how her mother and father met and married in 1937. Her mother who came from Manchester had difficulty in settling at Sunderland Point.

(6)  Dorothy Calverely describes the race to be first to start fishing. The next boat could not start until the previous boat had shot their nets.
