(3) They remember their grandfather telling a tale of learning to swim in the canal at Canal Foot with his 10 brothers, when an otter swam by his side! Ann learnt to swim out in the Bay, under the safety of bathing nets and posts placed out into the water so they couldn’t venture too far out.
