Approaching Warton Crag - A Walk around the Bay - Image 12 - from Grange-over-Sands
“Approaching Warton Crag – A Walk around the Bay” is a series of photographs celebrating the changing moods and beauty of the view across Morecambe Bay and along the coast to Warton Crag. This photo was taken in April 2017 when descending towards Grange-over-Sands railway station after the 2017 MBP Annual Conference. Warton Crag is there on the LHS in the distance to the east, keeping guard over the Kent estuary (see Image 10 for the opposite view). Once again this view highlights the stunning location of Warton Crag, with its strategic position dominating the bay. (For a brief Historical Note about the Crag see Image 1 in this series, or for more details see the Documents section).
